OVER $3000 WAS RAISED FOR THE CANCER FUND.  THANKS TO ALL WHO PARTICIPATED AND PLANNED AND HOSTED THIS EVENT.

Our monthly meeting was held on August 19.  Minutes of the last meeting were  read and approved.  The financial report was read.  There were no comments.   Attendance was below average.  I would like to see and meet more of the members of Post 325 at our meetings.  Some of the items discussed were:  approval of five transfers, one new member at this time. . There was discussion on medical care at the VAMC.  Service Officer Gary Fiochetta explained how to apply for medical help and/or claims for service connected injuries.  He is very knowledgeable about this subject.  I'm sorry, but I don't have an e-mail address for Gary, but if you need help, come to the monthly meeting or call Commander Roush and I'm sure she can tell you how to contact Gary.  There was discussion on starting a building fund and it will be talked about at a later date. That's all for this month.  If anyone thinks I missed something, let me know and I'll ammend this posting.
